We are still growing our salad mix and baby arugula watercress tatsoi lettuce and sorrels in the heated greenhouses, but now we have expanded our high tunnel greens production to bring you more vegetables and greens even earlier this season.

2011 – More Greenhouses and More greens! Year Round.

It is 2011 and we enter the new year with several new hoop house greenhouses and our custom designed and built berry/ginger house shown here.

It might be frozen outside here in Virginia but we are still growing! We have fresh pea shoots, green and red sorrel, our full line of herbs, some tomatoes and english cukes, still keeeping a few hot peppers and jalapenos going, and our very Famous Baby Arugula and Micro Lettuce Mix – Baby Tasoi and Watercress too!

Our first crop of baby ginger! Wonderful sweet and tender. Grown as part of our high tunnel research and featured along with our Red Pepper Hot Sauce in the Historic Cutting of the First Virginia Grown Papaya in Williamsburg VA on 11.10.2010.
